California is the most populous state in the nation resulting in the need for major improvements to the state's transportation infrastructure. Highways, public transit and railroads are either lacking or in disrepair and every day Californians are negatively impacted by traffic congestion.
Additionally, California is home to three of the busiest seaports in the country and its geographical location has made the goods movement industry critical to California's economy. Every year, numerous measures are introduced ranging from transportation infrastructure to container fees.
WWLG advocates have been involved in a wide variety of issues such as transportation and goods movement, infrastructure bonds and maritime safety issues.
