Every year the budget process consumes many, with everyone wanting a piece of the pie. Getting something included in or excluded from the Budget is a complex exercise that requires a keen knowledge of the process and the players.

WWLG advocates recognize that budget advocacy is a process begins by educating the Legislature about a client's program and locating key legislators who will advocate for that program's funding in budget hearings and in behind the scenes budget negotiations.

Budget advocacy doesn't end until the ink is dry and WWLG advocates will see a budget item through to the end.
